Posted on Wednesday, 27 June 2018 The first edition of the Dutch Jeans Hanging Championships will be Sunday 8 July organised by Klimbos Garderen. Have you mastered the technique of hanging from a pair of jeans? Then enter the competition and maybe you'll be hanging from a pair of jeans at 25 metres high. The preliminary rounds will take place at a 'normal' height, but the finalists will have to show their skills at a height of 25 metres.
With these extreme conditions, it remains to be seen whether these fanatics can hang on to their jeans for such a long time. The one who can keep it up the longest will be crowned Dutch jeans champion and will of course be in the great prizes.
The NK consists of 4 categories. There is a boys and girls competition (13 to 16 years), and a men and women competition (16 years and older). It is an open championship, so anyone can participate. Will you be climbing at Klimbos Garderen on 8 July? Then participation is free. You don't want to climb but you do want to become the Dutch jeans champion? Then sign up for a small fee. Between 12.00 and 17.00 hours, the preliminaries will be held at 'normal' height, and at 17.00 hours the big final will take place at 25 metres height.
