Prizewinners in the Klimbos

Last Wednesday 3 July, class T23 of Groevenbeek Ermelo
Klimbos Garderen visited. They had won a prize for their participation in the "Foute Tentoonstelling", an exhibition during the Veluwe Sustainability Fair, last November. Among other things, they won an active afternoon in the Klimbos.
Waste
But the day started at waste company Dusseldorp where Sebas van Wijk told the class about waste. Because what actually happens to waste when you do or don't separate it properly? What can be made from the waste? For the pupils it was a fun peek behind the scenes at the waste company.
Tall trees
After the workshop, it was time for action! In the
Klimbos Garderen the pupils went from tree to tree via bridges, zip lines and rope ladders. They overcame their fear of heights and overcame all obstacles. For the class, it was an educational day with a sporty conclusion.
